Crowley Academy of Aviation, Transportation and Logistics
The Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) concept at Crowley ISD provides high school-age students a seamless pathway from high school to college. This integration requires dual enrollment, with each scholar demonstrating mastery of the knowledge and skills necessary for success (Texas Success Initiative Assessment [TSI-A] and other requisite tests).
The Crowley Academy of Aviation, Transportation and Logistics focuses on five different CTE Programs of Study: Aviation Maintenance, Distribution and Logistics, UAV/UAS, Aviation Flight and Computer Programming. Scholars who graduate from C-ATL would have not only earned their high school diploma, but have the potential to earn either a Level 1 Certification, Level 2 Certification or an Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County College, which is transferable to a senior college/university or leading to employment. C-ATL will provide strong support to scholars and their families to obtain entrance to, and success in, college or the workplace.

CROWLEY, Texas - The Crowley Academy of Aviation, Transportation and Logistics recently met with a representative from Bell on Friday, April 9, 2021.
C-ATL Aviation Maintenance Instructor Steve Carey has been working to build relationships with industry partners.
“While in the process of soliciting various aviation industry organizations to support BRJ’s aviation maintenance technician program, training manager John Herweg CHS alumni class of 1981 from Bell reached out to P-TECH staff at BRJ to offer his support as a corporate advisor of our aviation program,” said Carey.
Mr. Herweg will partner with Mr. Carey and C-ATL Aviation Maintenance as a volunteer in the form of advising on shop safety and awareness.
Dr. Daryl Porter, Coordinator of P-TECH and CTE Innovation, is excited for this new opportunity for students in Crowley ISD.
“We are extremely thankful for their willingness to reach out and offer support for our brand-new Aviation Maintenance program,” said Porter.
