Our focus on academic rigor creates learning experiences that allow students to engage a seamless instruction and activities that immerse the student into their own learning. System of Great Schools
The School Transformation Office is responsible for coordinating Crowley ISD’s participation in the System of Great Schools Network. In 2019 Crowley ISD became a part of the System of Great Schools Network, a statewide initiative of the Texas Education Agency. School districts who join the SGS Network participate in a 4-year program that provides district leaders with technical assistance, professional learning communities, and support in applying for grants and other financial resources. As an SGS district Crowley ISD is committed to ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality school.
The SGS Strategy is a district-level problem solving approach that district leaders use to understand school performance and community demand and deliver the schools families want, need, and deserve. District leaders use the Strategy to expand what works, replace what doesn’t, and pursue all possible options to create high-quality schools. -

Montessori Education
Crowley ISD is strategically increasing efforts to recruit and retain students in an increasingly competitive school choice environment by expanding Montessori options across the district. The Montessori model was developed by Italian physician and educator, Dr. Maria Montessori, in the early 1900's. Montessori classrooms are easily recognizable due to their unique instructional approach such as sensory learning materials and multi-age grouping. There is a focus on developing the whole child -cognitive, emotional, social and physical. The Montessori method is developed to be student-led and self-paced. Children learn a balance of discipline and choice through different levels of mastery.

Innovative Courses
African American Studies
In April 2020 the State Board of Education approved innovative courses for African American Studies. At that time the Crowley ISD board approved the course to be implemented in the district. The School Transformation office has designed a unique curriculum approach that incorporates Project Based Learning by tracing students' African ancestry DNA. -
