Meet the 2024-25 North Crowley Silver Star Officers
Friday Night Lights shine a little brighter thanks to performances from our Fine Arts groups! For this #FineArtsFriday, we're excited to spotlight the talented student leaders of the North Crowley High School Silver Stars! 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗟𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀. Learn more about these students below. #CrowleyPrideUnified𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗟𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 Wright is a four-year member of the North Crowley Silver Stars drill team. She won Silver Stars recognition as Miss Freshman, Miss Sophomore and Miss Junior. She is a two-year dance officer, earning co-captain her junior year and captain her senior year. She is a student at Crowley Collegiate Academy earning her associate's degree this spring. ❝What I love most about this organization is the sisterhood that is created every year with the girls. Through thick and thin, we always find ways to come together and have a great time. As I’m in my second year of leadership, I've seen the importance of being there for my teammates and creating a bond that will last forever.❞𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 Coleman is a three-year member of the team and in her first year as a senior lieutenant. She was awarded Miss Full Out at last year’s banquet for bringing energy and lighting up a room. Her officer line was the only line awarded double platinum at team camp. ❝Being a part of Silver Stars has showed a lot of discipline within myself. I continue to strive for more opportunities outside of school. I have gained responsibility and confidence while being on the Silver Stars drill team.❞𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 Daugherty is in her third year on the team. During three years of team camp, she earned awards for Kick Academy and Dance Academy. During officer camp, she won a ribbon for executing the Latin jazz routine she learned. And in her junior year, she was named Silver Star of the Week. ❝What I love about being a Silver Star is the lessons it teaches me for dance as well as lessons I can remember for outside of dance. Being a Silver Star has allowed me to have personal development and growth as a young lady. It has taught me how to be organized, strive to be my best and have good time management.❞𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 Douglass is in her fourth year on the team and has been a part of two grand championship winning teams as well as multiple Division 1 earnings for small group. She's most recently earned Kick and Dance Academy honors at team camp and a pom award at officer camp. She was named Miss High Kick on the team for two years. ❝I enjoy being a part of the Silver Stars because it pushes me to be the best I can be. I love the routine and constant effort it takes to be a Silver Star. I can always count on it to get me out of bed and motivate me to be better.❞ -

For this #FineArtsFriday, we're thrilled to showcase the leaders of the talented Crowley High School Talonettes! 💜🤍 Meet 11th-graders 𝗟𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗰𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇! Last year, she served as a Sophomore Lieutenant. She has received awards for integrity, kindness, respect and being a hard worker. She was named Tally of the Week during her freshman year and won the integrity and social butterfly ribbons at camp. She also won an award for Best High Kick at the team's banquet last year. She also made the elite team for a studio dance company. ❝𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙄 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨. She was honored as Talonette of the Week for two years and is a member of Women in STEM. 🎶 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Coryn is a four-year Wind Ensemble member on flute, serving as first chair for two years. She is a three-year leadership member and a second-year drum major. She’s also a member of Winter Guard and the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra on flute. She has advanced to the State Solo and Ensemble contest on flute and received an outstanding soloist award as a sophomore for the 2022 marching show, “Sanctuary.” ❝Being a drum major is the most important and impactful leadership role I’ve held in my life so far because of the opportunity it’s given me to learn new things and make a positive difference in our band and our school.❞
🎼 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇, 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Graciela is a first-year drum major and in her third year serving in leadership. She is a four-year member of the Wind Ensemble on clarinet. She’s also a member of the North Crowley High School Varsity Golf team. She also was part of a Chamber Ensemble for the 2023 marching show, “Avian.” ❝Band has changed my life in more ways I ever thought it would and shaped me into the person I am today. Being a drum major is such an amazing privilege and opportunity because it has allowed me to contribute significantly to the growth of our ensemble and has taught me lessons that will stay with me throughout my life.❞
🎵 𝗠𝘆𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘇, 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Mya is also a first-year drum major and a four-year member of the Wind Ensemble on trombone. She is serving her third year in leadership. She also is a member of the North Crowley Varsity Golf team. ❝Being a drum major has given me so much confidence as an individual. Band has taught me life lessons and prepared me for life after high school like no other program has.❞

🎺 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻, 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Sydney is a four-year member of the Wind Ensemble on horn and a four-year member of the indoor drum line on cymbals. This year she also joined the CHS jazz band on trumpet. She is a three-year member of the student leadership team, previously serving as Assistant Section Leader and then Brass Captain. She has twice earned Division 1 ratings at UIL Solo and Ensemble competitions. Sydney is very enthusiastic about her future in music. Outside of band, she is currently president of National Honor Society and an intern at Bell Helicopter.

🎶 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘇, 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Paola is a four-year member of the Wind Ensemble and is currently Principal Flute. This is her third year on the student leadership team. She was previously Assistant Section Leader and Section Leader of the flute section. She also plays trumpet and sings in the CHS Jazz Band and plays flute for her church music ministry.

🎵 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿
Kristine is in her third year in Wind Ensemble, on tenor saxophone; in jazz band on alto and tenor saxophones and vocals; and indoor drumline on cymbals. This is her second year on student leadership, previously serving as Low Reed Section Leader. She has received Division 1 ratings at UIL for both a solo and an ensemble, advancing to the state level with her saxophone quartet. This year she plans to join National Honor Society and leadership team for her church youth group.
