The rezoning changes below were approved by the Crowley ISD Board of Trustees on March 28, 2024.Click here to view the new boundaries in our School Locator.
Families impacted by rezoning for the 2024-2025 school year can submit requests for their child to stay at their current Crowley ISD elementary school through a two-step process:
- Submit a Transfer Interest Form online by Friday, April 19.
- Submit Transfer Request online during transfer window (May 13-26).
Crowley ISD is growing and is making adjustments to elementary school attendance zones. We call this process Rezoning.
With fast growth, we are planning for the future.
Every time a new school opens, Crowley ISD evaluates its boundaries to balance enrollment. The process takes approximately one calendar year as we review home developments and enrollment patterns, identify possible school zone options, review transportation needs and much more.In Crowley ISD, students attend school based on where they live. Some campuses provide unique and specialized programs and your student may be required to attend a different campus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why rezone?
Crowley ISD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in North Texas. With this growth and the new schools in the voter-approved May 2023 Bond, it is necessary to evaluate the attendance boundaries of our elementary schools. We are committed to being responsible stewards of our taxpayer dollars, and many considerations are given during the process, including maximizing the efficient and effective use of facilities to reduce overcrowding, balance enrollment and plans for future growth while being responsive to parent input.
What factors does Crowley ISD consider during the rezoning process?
The following principles are used as a guide during rezoning:• Capacity of campuses
• Minimize the impact on families
• Parent input
• Demographic factors
• Geographical proximity
• Location of existing neighborhoods and communities
• Location of natural or other boundaries such as major roadways, railroad tracks, creeks
• Possible location of future schools
• Projected enrollment for campuses
• Transportation patterns
What is the timeline for rezoning?
This rezoning is for elementary boundaries for the next year two school years (2024-2025 and 2025-2026). Crowley ISD will go through the rezoning process for middle school boundaries before middle school is scheduled to open in Fall 2027.
Which campuses could be impacted by rezoning?
We are exploring a two-year rezoning plan based on the opening of two new elementary schools in the next two school years. If my home address is impacted by rezoning, can I request for my child stay at their current elementary school?
Yes. Our goal is to minimize the impact of rezoning on families. Parents can submit requests for their child to stay at their current Crowley ISD elementary school through a two-step process:
- Submit a Transfer Interest Form online by Friday, April 19.
- Submit Transfer Request online during transfer window (May 13-26).
Please note:
• Transfers are approved based on capacity, staffing and programs at the requested campus.
• When allowed to transfer, parents must provide transportation.
• A separate transfer request must be completed for each child.
• All approved transfers are valid while the student attends that elementary school.
• Students attending school on a transfer must follow all rules and regulations of the district, including those for student conduct and attendance.
How can I share my input or learn more?
We are committed to open and transparent communication. As part of this strongly held belief, Crowley ISD offers a variety of ways for you to ask questions and learn more:-
